Another bullet for personalized medicine/pharmacogenomics
Perlgen had some nifty technology and ideas, but, evidently we just aren’t quite there yet with sufficient science to validate the commercialization of these assays for the major diseases. MY guess? At least 5 more years of intense research will give us one new opportunity for real-world application of pharmacogenomics. All the epigenetic phenomena are creating a blur around what we thought we knew.
